Individual Services

Individual Solutions

Alongside our work for employers, we offer clear, personal and independent advice to individuals, executed using our years of collective experience.

Senior Executives

We provide highly personal and strategic support for company directors, ‘C Suite’ executives and senior managers.

When the stakes are high, we are on hand to help navigate challenging, high value or time-sensitive situations with confidence and clarity. Our support includes:

  • Exit strategies and settlement negotiations
  • Contract and incentive scheme review and negotiation
  • Strategic advice on post termination restrictions and business competition issues

How it works

Our team have guided many senior individuals through challenging or high-stakes situations, protecting interests and reputations, and achieving successful outcomes.

We offer a complimentary initial consultation, so you can tell us what you’re dealing with and what you need from us. We’ll listen to you and scope out the work with you before anything is chargeable. If we think a particular direction or cost option will serve you best, we’ll say so.

Settlement agreements

The team has significant experience in acting as independent advisers on settlement agreements (both negotiated and agreed). We regularly advise employees who have been offered a settlement agreement both individually, and in the context of group settlement agreement exercises.

We recognise that individual clients presented with a settlement agreement may find the content daunting or confusing. Our team are adept at simplifying legal terms, working within tight timescales, and advising clearly and pragmatically. We also adopt a highly personal touch to put our individual clients at ease.

For group exercises, we adopt a team approach. We are adept at working within tight timescales, collaborating as a team and in ensuring the project logistics are smooth and efficient.

How it works

We offer a complimentary initial consultation, so you can tell us what you need from us. We’ll offer a fixed fee for straightforward settlement agreements, wherever possible. For many settlement agreements, employers will pay a fixed contribution to an individual’s legal fees, and we will ensure we take this into account when providing a fee quote to you.

For group settlement agreement exercises, we are happy to consider day rates and project rates, depending on volume, complexity and timescales.

Testimonials

What our clients say

As HRD of a business that was in voluntary liquidation, we needed to approach a law firm that was not connected to us to act on behalf of a group of employees, who were being made redundant via settlement agreements. We were specifically recommended Jo Tindall. Jo quickly came up to speed with the situation, kept a healthy distance from us due to conflict of issues but worked with us on a very tight timeframe to conclude 118 settlement agreements ahead of the company being liquidated. All of this was achieved on a very reasonable fixed fee basis which was approved by the liquidators… Jo’s strategic, pragmatic, timely, drama free approach is highly recommended.

Group settlement agreements

Jo Tindall acted for me as my representative in my unfair dismissal case and grievance which was in conjunction to an unfair prejudice case. Jo was extremely professional, totally approachable and most of all in full knowledge of the history of my case. She was always in control of the various stages which was leading to a trial in the courts. Jo was a huge forward thinker and planned steps ahead of the defendant and her planning and execution was outstanding. Jo was always there if I needed her and acted extremely promptly and I never had to wait around for answers. Having won my case through mediation in the end, without Jo I would not have been successful in my very high 6 figure sum reward.
