Our Commitment

Green Pledge

Sustainability isn't a box-ticking exercise for us. It's something we care about personally, and it shapes how we run every part of the practice. These are the commitments we hold ourselves to.

No stationery waste

We take a digital-first approach to documents and communications, keeping paper use to an absolute minimum.

Repurposed equipment

We purchase refurbished technology and office equipment wherever possible, giving good kit a second life.

Green travel

We walk to the office or use public transport for business travel wherever possible, reducing our carbon footprint on the road.

Online meetings

We prefer video calls to reduce unnecessary travel, saving time for our clients and emissions for the planet.

Environmentally conscious offices

Where possible, our offices are rented from landlords who share our commitment to sustainability and responsible building management.

Paperless case management

Everything is digital — organised, searchable, and without the filing cabinets. No paper trails here.

Technology & data

Beyond paperless

Going paperless was only the start. These days the bigger question is how you use technology and data day to day—and we try to be deliberate about it.

Efficient by design

We'd rather manage our footprint than hand it to someone else and call it green. So instead of paying for a ‘green hosting’ badge, we build the site to be genuinely light: it does no work when no one is visiting, serves pages prepared in advance, and sizes images to each device — less to send and load at every step. It runs on the UK grid, with its growing share of renewables.

Store well

We keep well-organised files rather than scattering duplicates across inboxes and drives. Everything is backed up and secure, and we aim to avoid data sitting in active storage when it doesn't need to be.

Leaner inboxes

We are conscious of our email footprint. We don’t send messages for the sake of it, we will aim to use ‘reactions’ rather than a one-line reply, and we seek to avoid the same message being stored over and over by different people.

Always looking for better

We know we won't get everything right straight away, and the goalposts keep moving. But we're committed to reviewing our practices regularly and finding ways to do better. If you have suggestions, we'd genuinely love to hear them.
