Jo Tindall

Jo has over 25 years of legal practice as an employment lawyer in leading national and regional law firms. After training with DLA Piper LLP, Jo worked at a senior level in DAC Beachcroft LLP and Walker Morris LLP, before successfully building her own practice and team within Gunnercooke LLP over the last 13 years. Jo is accomplished in advising and representing clients in all areas of employment law. Jo has a high level of experience in advising on strategic and complex matters, such as senior exits, trade union recognition and pay disputes, business competition issues, complex contract negotiations, TUPE transfers, and large-scale restructuring processes.

Jo is often used as a ‘sounding board’ or ‘critical friend’ by Board members, HR Leads and senior executives. As our founder, Jo ensures our service provision is excellent and manages our accounts with a wide range of clients, including household name clients, international businesses, ‘not for profit’ organisations, SMEs, start-ups, and senior executives.

Jo has been ranked by the legal directories for over a decade and is highly regarded in her field.

In her spare time, Jo loves walking on the moors with her Labradoodle Dexter, wild swimming, yoga, spending time with the family, and the occasional music festival!
